Suzuki Bikes announced their Gixxer series to be BS-IV

Two-time European stunt champion Lithuanian trick-biker, Aras Gibieza manoeuvred his bike to squeeze out burnouts, 12 O'clock, Chainsaw, Biscuit Eater on occasion of Gixxer Day held just the other day in the city as part of 6 city – including 4 Metros – tour. Suzuki also took this opportunity to announce that all variants of its GSX, affectionately nicknamed Gixxer, will all be BS-IV compliant and also comes with new graphics features and paint options.
 
 
If Aras is to be believed, his stunt bike, GSX-S1000 is just like yours save for a clutch lever and handlebar modification. But it by no means that your bike will talk like his – it’s a veritable sport and requires talent polished by hours of rigorous practice.


New Gixxer series nakeds including SF have also benefitted by Auto Headlamp On (AHO) feature along with cross-length decal for all available color options. At its heart it still retains the 155 cc single-cylinder with 14.2 bhp air-cooled engine, 14 Nm peak torque, standard transmission 5-speed gearbox and fuel injection system.
Launched in 2014, Gixxer has proven to be its money-maker not only in India and East as well. This segment – the 155 CC has shown a growth rate of about 44% YonY as opposed to 10% dip in 100 and 125 CC models. WB growth rate is tandem with the national and is the No.1 territory in the East.
 
Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India present to announce the upgrade said, "At Suzuki Motorcycle India, we constantly strive to offer new products and technologies to the Indian market. We have also incorporated Mega Service Camp to reach out to our customers and provide them an unmatched post-purchase experience."


SMIP also plans to add 100 exclusive brand outlets nationally by next year.
