Beauty with brains - Not a myth anymore.



Indian girl shines bright at world stage in China.
Manushi Chillar a 20 year old girl hailing from Haryana studied in St Thomas School, New Delhi is a medical student of Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for women came back home with the Miss World title after 17 years since our very own Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra did in 2000.
She isn't just amazingly beautiful and gorgeous but has also her aims to be a cardiac surgeon and has plans of opening non-profit hospitals in rural areas. She is also a trained classical dancer and has a passion for outdoor sports like scuba diving, snorkelling and bungee jumping.



She had participated in the beauty pageant with 108 other beautiful ladies all across the world. In the final round of the pageant, when she was asked which profession deserves the highest pay and why, her answer put a smile on everybody's face and the proud faces of her parents glowed amidst the crowd in Sanya, China. Her answer goes, "I think a mother is of highest respect. I don't think its just about cash but love and respect she gives to someone. She is the biggest inspiration in my life. Mother should get highest respect."



We at every step are hearing that girls should just be beautiful and today at many parts of India girl child is still denied of her basic education. But young girls like Manushi makes our nation proud and also points to the injustice done to our girls. Girls are not only Saree claded beautiful and gorgeous but are great at academic or professional feild too. And "Beauty with Brains" is not just a saying but something our girls are proving to be true.
Girls like Manushi inspires us and more young girls to take up their dreams and succed in it. From all arenas be it sports, film industry or say it doctors like Manushi. These are inspirations to look up-to and know that someday, somewhere we will win too.
Let's make a change. Let's give our girls chances and I promise we'll not regret and see them come out in every field with flying colors.
Till then let's celebrate our girl's win over the world.
