Happiness is not something readymade, it comes from our own actions!
“Happiness can be found even in the
darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light” goes the saying
by J.K Rowling. Happiness is considered to be one of the greatest possession of
an individual. But the question is should happiness even be considered to be a
possession? I don’t think so. Happiness is not something ready made it comes
from our own actions. Happiness is a relative concept. Each individual finds
joy in different activities, situations and experiences. Happiness can be found
in all kinds of places. Some feel happy in the pages of their books, some finds
joy by travelling, while some find in playing the strings of their guitar or
piano, whereas some find immense joy by singing their hearts out. Happiness
must be something that the individual creates. It depends on person to person
and the different perspective of people. Happiness cannot be owned or earned.
If you hope to find your happiness in material possessions and fleeting
moments, you will find your happiness to be temporary and short-lived rather
than deep feeling and long lasting. True happiness comes from experiences and
not possessions.
Everyone says that “happiness comes from
richness” but it is wrong. The richest are not the happiest people in the world
and in the same way the poorest are not the saddest people in the world. Even a
beggar can lead a life of happiness while a billionaire may face a life of
sorrow. It all depends on our own actions.
Most of the people in the world wants to
be happy but only a few achieve this. So act happy, be happy and make everyone
happy around you and lead the happiest life.
