8 Ways to celebrate your Anniversary this year

8 Ways to celebrate your Anniversary this year

"This Year’s Anniversary make a difference"

Like birthdays, anniversary celebrations become monotonous after a few years. If you've grown disenchanted with the fancy dates, chocolates, cards and roses, worry not, because we've rounded up a series of unique and conventional Anniversary ideas to help you ignore the season's predictability. After all, what's romance without a little mystery, surprise, and adventure?

   1. Take your romance to a whole new level this Anniversary by capturing a firefly for the shinning star of your life:

Have you ever tried capturing light trails from fireflies? If you have not you should definitely give it a try. Fireflies live in certain areas and they simply may not live anywhere near you. In my area fireflies are found near areas that have both water and tall grass and also are found in damp forests with bamboo grass present.
Before you head out in to the dark check the list below to make sure you have all the required gear, which is pretty standard for any night photography.
·         A camera capable of shooting in “Bulb” mode
·         A sturdy tripod
·         A cable or shutter release *it can be done with a remote but options will be very limited

2. Instead of the usual flowers, buy a bouquet-shaped USB hub.

During the past few years, USB peripheral devices have become almost omnipresent in the computing field, practically including everything: from connectable drink warmers, portable fans and shaving machines to regular external hard drives. The almost uncontrollable growth of these innovative and useful – at least in most cases – devices has filled our home and office desks and PCs with hundreds and hundreds of cords. However, there is a slight problem: there never seem to be enough available ports. In order to solve this annoying issue you can gift your special one with a USB hub.

       3. Do Some Charity

Love increases many folds when you share it. So celebrate the day with people who need it! Give away food, clothing, gifts, anything and you’ll realise how much closer it also brings the two of you.

4.Go to an animal shelter and play with the animals

An animal shelter or pound is a place where stray, lost, abandoned or surrendered animals, mostly dogs and cats, and sometimes sick or wounded wildlife are kept and rehabilitated. Find an animal shelter near you and spent some memorable time with your loved ones.

5.Horror movie marathon

Go totally against the grain by having a horror movie marathon. Pop some popcorn, grab a few cold beers, and make a night of it. Plus, you can cozy up with your other half whenever you get spooked.

Who doesn’t love a fun night with music, food, drinks, friends and lots of fun! Karaoke Nights do just that and a little more. Karaoke bars are especially more fun when one is bored of partying at the same nightclubs. Whether at a special karaoke event or a karaoke bar, there is nothing quite like singing karaoke with your special one.

This one is really simple — nothing says "I rrreeeealllly love you" like letting someone you care about hear you sing, especially on stage with a microphone.

7.Learn about "love" in a new culture.

Every culture celebrates the day of love a little differently. For instance, in Japan, women give men chocolates on February 14th.  Check out how the world celebrates the day of love, and then try mixing a couple of fun new traditions into your own date night.

8.Think mugs are lame? Personalize a bottle of wine instead.

The perfect gift is equal parts thoughtful, unique and desirable—custom wine is all three. Whether you are wanting to say I love you to a significant other, wish a best friend a happy birthday, or show your appreciation to a top client, the thought and elegance of a personalized wine bottle is sure to be well received.

What Daniel Fernandes's Shadows Is All About

Shadows: A Revelatory Special

I walked into Terna Auditorium on Sunday Night expecting a special set by a comedian I had seen perform live on a previous occasion and had seen videos of on YouTube. Daniel Fernandes went above and beyond that. At the outset he cautions the audience, that his self admittedly social commentary centred style of humour that has gained an instant association with him would not be a feature tonight.
His piece is a reflective one, touching upon self-doubt, his journey of self-discovery, his moment of truth and his foray into comedy. He discusses at length the various paradigms and notions of success that pervade society without sounding preachy. And how while non-conformity can be a lonely place, it isn’t the worst.
Fernandes’ takes on the mantle of a voice in our head and says everything that naturally occurs to us but social conditioning prevents us from expressing vocally.   Through an anecdotal and a canonical sense of humour, he narrates his evolving len…

“Youth is happy because it has the capacity to see beauty. Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.”  ― Franz Kafka
It is said that the world’s two most prized gifts are the love of a woman and the beauty of youth. While we always talk about women, today let’s take this opportunity to talk about youth. Youth is the most treasured trait that a person can have, without it a person can be 45 but feel like 85. Youth or young people around the globe are always treated as not only the “future” of humankind but also looked upon as the envied lot, as their energy levels are still at their peak. So let’s take this time to learn a bit more about them:
1.The definition varies from country to country. According to the United Nations, “Youth” are the people who are of ages 15-24. However different countries have different definitions. In Nigeria youth are termed to be people between ages 18 and 35. In India, according to the National Youth Policy 2014, …

Teacher, often described as our friend, philosopher and guide, plays a vital role in everyone’s life. A teacher has the capability to guide his or her students and give them immense courage and inspiration. We all remember at least one teacher from our school throughout our lives, isn’t it? It is because he or she has been able to put an impact in your life. Teaching is an art and an educator needs to find several methods to teach the students and these ways may differ every time with each new batch of students. An educator needs to perform every day in class as per the needs and demands of the batch and we always remember the best performance althroughout. Hichki, a recent film by Siddharth Malhotra is about a brilliant teacher, Naina Mathur (Rani Mukerji) who has Tourette’s syndrome, lands a job in an elite school after several failures and rejections. She puts aside her problem and overcomes all challenges to…
