You think you’re a jugged master that can work through things.Then Maker Mela is just the right platform for you!

MakerMela focuses on bringing about a perspective change. It's about raw potential of experimentation. MakerMela, a premier event for grassroots Innovations is also a celebration of arts, crafts, engineering, science projects, the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset and the MakerMovement. 
In order to support the Make in India initiative and with the vision of catalyzing innovation and entrepreneurship in India at the grassroots level, MakerMela (http://makermela.com/) was created. The tentative dates for the same are January 11th-13th, 2018.
Boasting of 50,000+ visitors, 20+ workshops, 100 national and 150 international makers Maker Mela offers benefits to makers as well.

FAQs:

1)Is there any registration fee?
No, there is no registration fees.

2) What is the duration of the event?
3 Days, 11th, 12th and 13th January 2018. The timings are from 10AM to 8PM.

3) What is the last date for registration?
Last date for registration is 31st October, 2017.

4)How do I reach the venue?
Ghatkopar and Vidyavihar are the nearest Railway stations.Public transport is also easily available.

5) Will I get accommodation if I am travelling from outside Mumbai?
We will shortlist top 30 best projects whom we would provide all the logistics required. (Depends completely on the nature and the type of the project.) Kindly register and we would be happy to help you if your project falls under our shortlisted category. Accomodation is only for one maker + one companion (if any) per project.

6) Who is eligible to register?
Any person who thinks he has a groundbreaking Idea or a concept and wishes to display his project/Product in this Nationwide Maker Initiative.

7) What all can we display on our Stalls?
Any kind of project can be displayed (Art, craft, IT, Hardware, Food etc).

        XAVIERS COLLEGE PRESENTS XAVOTSAV 2018: SOUNDS OF THE MULTIVERSE On 21 st January, Xaviers kick-started the day with their much awaited fest Xavotsav , and brought to us three days of fun, music, dance, and as Kolkata would otherwise call it “full on mosti!!”. In association with Telegraph-t2 and co-presented by MTV Beats and Vh1 India, Xavotsav’18 brought us another grooving experience that was missing when we’d begun with the new year.  Starting each day with the different competitive showdowns by the surrounding colleges, and ending the nights with the long awaited prized performances, we faced a lot of noisy cheers, claps and dedicated chants during every college’s moments of fame.
